Latimer Corporation was pleased to be represented by Mr. Parthiban Chandrasakaran, who served as a panel judge at the UMCVEC 2026 – Civil Engineering Competition 2026: EcoGregate Bowl, held on 16 May 2026 at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya.

Organised by the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya, the competition challenged students to apply engineering principles, material innovation and creativity to design and construct a functional bowling ball using concrete.

As part of the judging panel, Mr. Parthiban evaluated the teams’ engineering solutions, presentations and innovative approaches, while recognising outstanding achievements throughout the competition.
