About Latimer Corporation
Latimer Corporation was established in January 1985 and has since evolved into one of Malaysia’s premier civil and infrastructure contractors, specializing in roadworks, highways, and bridges across both urban and rural landscapes.
Operations for Latimer commenced in September 1989 with a RM17 million project in Triang, Pahang Darul Makmur. Over the ensuing years, the company's activity steadily escalated, reaching RM80 million in 1995, RM250 million in 2001, and RM500 million in 2017. Latimer holds registration with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) as a G7 contractor, empowering the company to vie for government and private projects of any scale. Additionally, Latimer Corporation has been recognized as a 5 STAR CIDB Contractor since 2020.
Tan Sri Dato Denis Latimer joined Latimer Corporation in 1995 as the Finance Director following his return from the UK and Australia. Assuming the role of Group Managing Director in 1998, he has led Latimer Corporation with adeptness, assembling a proficient team of senior management and skilled staff to ensure the sustained growth of the company.
The company’s workforce has expanded from just a few employees to over 200. This growth in personnel has been driven by the increasing number and complexity of projects, necessitating the employment of additional professionals to manage the technical aspects of our business effectively.
Despite achieving significant growth, Latimer remains deeply rooted in the values of its heritage. Our exponential expansion over the past decade is attributed to a steadfast commitment to our core strengths in construction, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Latimer also upholds a resolute dedication to completing projects punctually while upholding safety and environmental standards without compromise.
